The kids have landed.....

The kids have landed! DH came home Friday night and it was good to see him and we both were anticipating the arrival of the kids the next day. We got up early Saturday and finished getting the house all ready. We decided last minute to stay in Birmingham that evening since the flight was going to be so late coming in and we could do abit of shopping in the Galleria Mall. We got to the airport and we both just sat there for almost two hours. We were like two kids just giddy. We did play my Sudoku - DH "thought" he knew how to play it. We saw a Morgan Freeman look alike. There was a church group there waiting on a guy named Josh flying in that they never met (they had all these banners) so we waited with them to see who this guy was. So we entertained ourselves while we waited. Once their flight came in we waited from the security point scanning every face down the concourse wondering if that was them or not. Once we saw the airline attendant and the kids we were waving our hands like crazy back and forth. The reunion was great and there were alot of hugs. We got to our room and the kids had so much energy and so much to tell us. We played a puzzle game and spoons. Sunday we did abit of shopping and drove home. The kids were very excited to see where we live and what their rooms looked like. They really liked their rooms and Christian got down to business and played his game station. Lauren pulled out her Barbies and Barbie Grand Hotel and played for awhile. We also went grocery shopping ** NOTE TO SELF** DO ALL YOU GROCERY SHOPPING BEFORE KIDS ARRIVE! Our bill was quite high but we did get alot of snacks and food. We got alot of cheese stuff...cheese puffs, gold fish, ritz crackers with cheese and then they wanted cheese potato chips - we had to draw the line and say we're cheesed out! It's good having the kids in the house and going shopping and having this hand grab yours. It's just nice!
